Hello James
On the 28th December 2012 you attended our civil partnership ceremony for Kate and I at the Woodside in Kenilworth. These are the words that I would echo regarding the ceremony, which you were part of.
When we set about choosing our nighttime entertainment for our ceremony we wanted a band that would appeal to all, would have a sense of fun and get people up and dancing. We watched you on YouTube and read your reviews, which impressed us.
We were always confident that we had chosen well. We would like you to know that we were very impressed by your professionalism throughout the booking process and on the night itself. Judging by the numbers on the dance floor, it was obvious that you entertained us all very well.
Kate and I would like to thank you very much for making it all effortless but above all making our celebrations perfect.
We cannot recommend you highly enough.

What an amazing night! My feet are still hurting, and my bridesmaids as we have never danced so much. I also can't speak because I was singing at the top of my voice. Just want to say a massive thank you for the 8th. In organising things with such short notice and for the actual night. The three of you were excellent and everyone who remained enjoyed the quite intimate gig that it turned into. People who left before you actually began performing said that even your sound check sounded brilliant and that they wished they had stayed; their loss! You were all great sports with the various costumes as well and we all had a fab time. If we ever decide to hold a party again, we will definitely get in touch with you. Excellent doesn't even come close to the description of the Christmas Hollywood Ball we had. Your part in the evening made the night. Our staff are not afraid to moan if they had a bad night. Last year there were moans about the band that was booked. This year the comments were "where did you find them?" "good find" and from young to the older staff all were smiling. First I would like to thank you for initially not making the music so loud as to make it impossible to carry on a conversation at the tables, but still loud enough to enjoy. As the hostess still trying to fit in a few words with all our guests, I certainly appreciated that.
The music was great, crisp, well-balanced and full of life, in fact everything I hoped it would be from listening to the clips on your website. We found the Smooth Criminals from their website, which we were immediately impressed by, as they covered a wide range of songs and looked professional. We were not let down on the night, the combination of male and female vocals added great variety to the songs, and got everybody dancing from the start. All the band members had a relaxed, happy and energetic vibe which came over in their performance and added to the atmosphere on the night. James, the drummer DJ’d to fill in the gaps, which kept everybody dancing.
They really topped off a great day with a superb performance and lots of guests said how much they enjoyed the evening and the music.

Thanks Smooth Criminals for a fantastic night of music for my 40th birthday party. The play list was exactly what I wanted – the kind of songs that get people up to dance and sing along to. You are all great musicians and in particular I was so pleased with the pianist who played continually for the first hour – what a pro! You really helped to make the night one to remember.

"What a Party"
We recently got married on the 25/10/08 and had one hell of a reception/party in the evening at Lanes Barn in south Oxfordshire. Following a great day the celebrations continued into the evening with all our family and friends, 120 plus arriving to the party with a fabulous band playing there stuff all night.
"The Smooth Criminals" What a brilliant band, they were so tight, great musicians and top vocals playing a great selection of hits, rock & roll, soul, jazz, a fantastic time had by all. Everyone up on the floor bopping to the late hours, Quite frankly we could not have picked a better band, even after 2 weeks the gang are still going on about the great music the band were playing at our celebration gig. There's just nothing like great live music and "The Smooth Criminals" are the band for any party.
To all the guy's in the band, thanks so much for making our night such a brilliant event. (we will have to do it again sometime).

Hi James. Hope you are well. Wanted to say a big thank you! We had a great wedding, even the weather turned out great, it was sunny all day after weeks of rain!
The band were brilliant, really enjoyed them and the whole room danced and danced all night, they played requests for my bridesmaids which made their day and they really got involved with the guests and I couldn’t be more pleased with the music and the band members themselves, they were polite and certainly looked like they enjoyed themselves. Dear James & All the band
I wanted to write to say an enormous thank you for playing so fantastically at our wedding on the 17th May!
We’re now back from honeymoon and settling down into real life but we had the most fantastic wedding! So many people have said how great you guys were and my uncle absolutely loved the chance to rock-n-roll dance, which was quite the experience for when my turn came.
One of my favourite memories of the day was dancing down the path from the marquee, at the end. We didn’t want to leave but we had to go and I skipped away from the best party ever to Summer of 69’ which you guys were playing fantastically and I just thought ‘what’ a perfect end to the day. Jealous that everyone else got to stay on and dance but so pleased that it had been such a success. So thank you all for being fab and making the day even more special.
